Summer Book Contest Pamphlet Design
During my time in Rainbow Resource Center's marketing department, I was tasked with creating information packets for contest participants. While this initially started as creating a visually interesting way to present information, it grew over the years. I was given permission to add additional content to educate children. The Suggested Steps, Elements of Story, and Writing Process pages you see in the packets below were created by me after researching, drafting, and revising the content to be as accessible as possible for children ages 6 to 18. I was largely responsible for content creation, annual revision based on chosen theme, all aspects of design, making edits and updates, and creating finished documents in both colorful web friendly and black and white print friendly versions. Social media and website graphics were created within cohesive branding parameters as determined by the look and feel of the themed information packets. Additional video content was also created to either announce the contest in the spring, and to announce winners in the fall.
